What You Will Do

​

As our RFP/Proposals Specialist, you’ll play a key role in winning new business and showcasing the firm’s world-class capabilities. You will:

• Lead and coordinate high-profile RFP responses for major clients.

• Collaborate directly with attorneys and BD teams to tailor persuasive proposals.

• Manage tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects with precision.

• Craft, edit, and proof marketing content with clarity and style.

• Use tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and CRM platforms to drive results.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where your organizational abilities, project management skills and team orientation will shine.

What You’ll Bring

• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.

• 6+ years’ experience in a law firm or professional services environment.

• Strong organizational and project management chops.

• A sharp eye for detail and a passion for quality.

• Ability to take initiative, stay cool under pressure, and own your workflow.

• AP style writing proficiency.

• Experience with CRM tools like InterAction or Salesforce.

• Background in journalism, communications, law, or marketing.

Compensation

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in Chicago, Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Houston. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. We offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits including comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and retirement. Compensation Range:

• Chicago: $95,000 - $114,000

• Los Angeles:  $95,000 - $118,000

• Bay Area: $95,000 - $129,000
